Hi Keira , I just finished your book and loved it. I particularly like your writing style. i am doing a masters in mental health and your story helps put reality into theory. Great work, Thanks, Yagia.

I am 49 years old and have existed for 30 years with an incorrect diagnosis of bipolar complete with incorrect medication. During a recent hospital admission I have finally got a diagnosis which fits my symptoms- BPD. I live in a rural area where access to specialised healthcare such as DBT workshops are non existent, let alone Buddhist communities. These things are luxuries city people enjoy, not those of us out in the sticks. After reading the Buddha and the Borderline I am overwhelmed by the amount of work and intensive support required to achieve some semblance of normalcy in my life. It is a great memoir but for me, in my situation has left me adrift without hope. I am sorry for my negativity. It is better to feel negativity than not thing at all right?

    Hi Kiera,
How are you? I would love to catch up with you. I’ve been involved with NEPDA over the past few years and we are doing some interesting things that I’d love to tell you about. I hope this message finds you. And I hope you’re doing well.

    Best,
    David
